We offer a variety of spaces like our community room, museum gallery, picnic area, or outdoor event space. Each space has different capacities and features suited for various functions such as workshops, receptions, and community gatherings.

Our spaces are available for individuals, community organizations, nonprofits, and businesses. Some spaces may be priorities for educational or mission-aligned use.

We are located at 3711 W. Deer Valley Rd, Phoenix AZ 85308.

Rentals can take place during regular business hours. The museum will remain open to the public except when a full facility rent out is purchased.

Complete the rental inquiry form or contact our staff at [email protected] or by calling (623) 582-8007. Then, a staff member will contact you to schedule a walkthrough. Reservations are confirmed once the contract is signed and a deposit is received.

We recommend booking at least 30 days in advance to secure your preferred date. Last-minute booking may be considered depending on availability. If your event involves alcohol, you must book at least 90 days in advance.

For any organization outside of ASU, a deposit is required. The deposit will be applied to your final bill. Final payment is due on or before your event date.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Cash and Checks. 

Checks must be made payable to Arizona State University.

  • All external bookings require a $150 deposit that will be applied to your final invoice.
  • Rates are per hour unless otherwise noted.
  • ASU rates apply to official University departments, programs and affiliates.
  • Any rentals lasting 4.5 hours or more will be charged the facility rent-out fee.

You will be required to have general liability insurance coverage for your event. Proof of insurance is required at least 10 days before you event.

For ASU bookings: 

  • Cancellations made on or before 15 days prior to your event will not incur a cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made between 8-14 days before the event will incur a 25% cancellation fee based on the invoice amount.
  • Cancellations made between 3-7 days prior to the event will have a 50% cancellation fee based on the invoice amount.
  • Cancellations made less that 48 hours prior to the event will be charged for the full invoiced amount.

For external bookings: 

  • Cancellations made on or before 15 days prior to your event will no incur a cancellation fee and will receive a full refund of the deposit.
  • Cancellations made 8-14 days before the event will incur a 25% cancellation fee of their deposit.
  • Cancellations made 3-7 days prior to the event will have a 50% cancellation fee of their deposit.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the event will forfeit the deposit.

Rental spaces must be returned in the same condition as received. A cleaning and/or damage fee may be applied if extra maintenance is required.

Yes, activities involving open flames, illegal substances, or excessive noise may be prohibited. Please see full rental agreement for specific guidelines.

Most rentals include tables, chairs and basic AV equipment. Additional items (e.g. projectors, microphones, etc.) may be available upon request for an additional fee.

A staff member will be available during set-up and as needed. Ongoing on-site support can be arranged in advance.

Our interior facility is ADA-compliant and includes accessible restrooms and entryways.
